Avai started season in serie B with a draw in the away match against Boa and tonight will host the Sao Caetano who opened the season with home defeat by ASA. Avai coach Hemerson Maia for this match can not count on Bruno who is injured and Nunes who is loaned out from Sao Caetano.

corinthians will host Fluminense hoping to be able to start the championship with victory. In Paulista, Corinthians has failed to come to the title but the Corinthians are predominantly devoted to Libertadores where they next week expected rematch against Vasco. Botafogo tonight will host Sao Paulo and after the failure in the Carioca and Cup, Botafogo hopes for better results in the Brazilian Championship. Internacional in Gaucho managed to come up to the title and now are turning to Brazilian Championship, where they hope that this year could record a good result. International Coach Dorival for today can not rely on D'Alessandro, Sandro Silva and Kleber who are injured while Jo and Jajá are removed from the team due to indiscipline.
On the other hand Coritiba also managed to come to title in regional league and also Coritba in Brazil cup come to the quarterfinals. Figueirense is well played through regional league but in the end it totally failed, and failed to come to the title. The team has brought a new coach Argel Fuck who had not much time to work with the team because he only recently came to the club. For this match Fucks can not rely on a Júlio César who is suspended and Aloisia, Heber and Botti who are injured.
Nautico on the other hand played poorly in regionaloj league and has not made any noticeable result. The team has signed a lot of new players. The Nautica today will be without Silo and Alessandro who are injured.
According to some forecasts of these two teams are prime candidates for relegation this year. Will these forecasts will be realized we will see. By so far shown Nautico is quite close to it as I think Figueirense did show a little better play and I think that they are a bit further than that.
